Milan (Italy), 02 November 2022 – Arkad S.p.A. has been awarded a USD 169 million contract for engineering, procurement, construction and construction management (EPCCm) from Groupement TFT, a joint venture between Sonatrach and TotalEnergies.

Completion is expected within 34 months from the date of coming into force of the contract.

The project involves the construction of a turnkey plant that will allow Algeria to increase its gas extraction capacity.

The plant will be built in the mining areas of the south-east of the country and involves the construction of a low-pressure gas compression station, a gathering system linking 24 new producing wells to the existing plant and revamping present facilities.
