Milan (Italy), 06 May 2026 — Arkad SpA announces the contract signature of the Phase 2 Development Project of the Hassi Bir Rekaiz Field in Algeria by the Groupement HBR, the joint venture between Sonatrach and PTTEP.

This award confirms Arkad SpA’s long-standing presence and continued growth in a country which belongs to our legacy. Over the past five decades, Arkad SpA has successfully contributed to more than 30 projects in Algeria, strengthening its technical expertise and consolidating its reputation as a reliable EPC partner.

The project involves the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of a Central Processing Facility (CPF) for the treatment of crude oil and associated gas, together with off-plot pipelines and all related utilities and infrastructure. The project will be executed through a Consortium led by Petrojet, a trusted and qualified partner with extensive experience in the execution of large-scale energy projects and strong local operational capabilities.

This milestone marks another significant step in Arkad’s journey, contributing to Algeria’s energy growth through innovation, safety culture, and engineering excellence.
