Milan (Italy), 15 December 2025 – Arkad SpA has been recognized among the top companies on the podium at the ENI Supply Chain Awards 2025, in the Safety Continuous Improvement Category.

The ENI Supply Chain Award celebrates suppliers who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to safety, sustainability, innovation, and inclusion within the Open-es platform.

As part of our Company’s journey toward energy transition initiatives, in 2021 we joined the Open-es Community, the digital platform created through a partnership between Eni, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Google Cloud, designed to promote sustainability across industrial supply chains and open to all companies engaged in the energy transition.

Since 2023, Arkad SpA has worked as EPC Contractor at the Gela Biorefinery, contributing to the production of sustainable fuels (HVO and SAF) through the Degumming Pre-Treatment and SAF Units. Throughout these projects, we developed a structured HSE approach built on meticulous planning, cross-company alignment, active involvement of subcontractors, and extensive training activities. We have turned the construction site into a place of awareness and prevention, with control and coordination activities evolving from weekly to daily practices, and initiatives fostering a strong HSE culture at every level. Management has set the example through top-down involvement, while workers have been actively engaged through training, awareness campaigns and Safety Awards.

Within ENI’s Safety Continuous Improvement Initiative, in a historical moment marked by the emergency of workplace accidents, this path has represented the vision that guided us to the achievement of ZERO INCIDENTS and ZERO INJURIES.
